Abandoned Quarry nr. Conwy, N,Wales

During a trip to North Wales I visited an abandoned quarry. By the time I arrived it was sunset, and quickly dark. Rather than use long exposures to create my images I used lights and flash to light different parts of the quarry. There was also some light from a few lights that were working, and some street lights can be seen in the background of some images. I enjoyed shooting these images as it was a whole new place to me and so to explore it turned out some interesting places. Looking at my images afterwards I am glad that I shot my images in black and white as it emphasises the grittiness of the area and structures.
